Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote – Europe)

Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and scaling our AWS infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our systems. You will work closely with our technical team to drive automation, improve deployment pipelines, and maintain compliance with the highest standards of information security.

This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS architectures.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and operations processes to ensure high availability and resilience.
  • Collaborate with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and certifications, including ISO 27001, PCI, and DORA.
  • Contribute to incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Information Security certifications (ISO 27001, DORA, PCI, or equivalent).
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to Have (Optional but Valuable)

  • Previous experience with Java or Node.js.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Previous experience in the finance or fintech industry.
